Fishing Day Rain Rain and More Rain

And yesterday was so pretty and sunny.  Today is overcast and threatening rain.  A few sprinkles here and there and now at almost 5 p.m. it's taking itself seriously and raining in earnest.  However, the day had some success.  Around 2 p.m. the rain actually stopped so all the fishing gear and chairs where thrown in the car and off to the kid's pond we went.

Such a pretty pond.

Grandpa and the boys fixing up the poles with pointy hooks and stinky maggots.  Boys!  Yuck!  I'll take pictures.

Hunter's first cast.  It was awesome.  He's a natural.

Such focus and concern.  Must be hooking a maggot.

A serious discussion about the expect size of that first fish.

Brothers bonding.  Two seconds later they were pulling the pole in two directions.

And so the waiting begins......

and continues.....

and continues......

and continues.....

and continues.....until....oh and Hunter wants you to know his first fish was bigger than Austin's.  But Austin got the first fish and he also got a second...smaller if that's possible.

So mission accomplished I took off for a walk back to the motorhome.  Here's a few more pretty shots of the park.

This is actually the onsite restaurant.

Thanks for visiting...more later.
