Then it was off across the parking lot to American Pie Pizzaria. A pizza buffet was underway so of course we all gobbled that up and stuffed ourselves.
Stuffed, exhausted from the long drive we all went off to our beds.
Rise and shine everyone. At 7:30 in the morning we're heading out to the Atlanta Motor Speedway and the Good Sam Rally.
Welcome to the Atlanta Motor Speedway
"Will Call", first stop.
With our "will call" packets in hand we headed over to the parking sites.
Larry and Bill followed by Duke.
Rigs are just beginning to come in. Over the next day most of this area will be full of RVs. This is the north side of the raceway.
Gail was cold so she's wearing her polar coat.
We're on the open tram returning to our rigs. The grandstands are behind us. This is where we'll see The Beach Boys preform on Saturday night and Vince Gill on Friday night.
Hee Haw....two laps on the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Lilly wanted her tummy rubbed. She wouldn't even budge when I loaded her tummy up with a ball and a chew.
Roadmaster came over and cut the pin/locks from our tow bars. They refurbished it completely at no charge. Bill tipped him 25 bucks.
At 3 p.m. they opened all the motorhomes for viewing. We looked at a lot of rigs but didn't see much. Tomorrow we'll look again.
This pretty fountain is surrounded by registration, the media center and food vendors. Beyond this are RV dealers, numerous seminar tents and multiple exhibit halls. Thursday, Oct. 17 will be a big day. The Rally officially opens.
Grilled burgers with Duke, Larry and Gail, Linda and Ove and Bill and me.
An absolutely beautiful sunset ended our evening. Generator time. Gail heading back.
Almost a full moon... Good night all. Thanks for visiting. See you tomorrow.

Hey Jim. Do you miss me yet?
Of course I do! The blog gives me my Rasmussen fix though. Thanks for being so diligent with your entries.
