Now that's a beautiful site.
Something always coming or going.
Of course I was the one who enjoyed it the most because Bill said he never took his eyes off the road. See what he missed.
Hey Bill, see what you missed.
Mackinac City above and below.
So other than the bridge, today was uneventful. Very light traffic and pretty scenery. Even after getting down to Flint the traffic was good...UNTIL...it all came to a halt and then crawled along for 30 minutes until we came upon the reason. A big rig tipped it's load and got stuck over the shoulder.
It must have been the best fun all day...there had to be 15 men in yellow vests all scratching their heads trying to figure out what's next. I'm pretty sure this was going to take a while.
Half and hour later we pulled into St. Clair Thousand Trails. Whew!
And Hunter and Austin here are some photos of what's waiting for you. It's a real pretty park. Tomorrow I'll post some pictures of the pool and playgrounds. There's a Bologna Fry this weekend..can you imagine?
Here we are all set up, waiting. Lucy and Lilly are unimpressed with their large fenced yard, especially after having free range at the campground in Barnum for almost a month. They'll adjust.
Are these beautiful skies. Also some photos of the grounds around the park.
Volleyball field.
The pool and recreation hall are at the end of the road.
Twilight time.
About 9 p.m.

Susan, John & I are members of Lewis & Clark, through Larry Rassmusen. We were just at St. Clair,MI (6/25-7/16). Currently we're in Kenisee Lakes (Jefferson,OH)(7/23-8/13). Our next stop will be Niagara Falls too. Sure hope we meet somewhere along the way. Love your photos. That bridge is gorgeous!
