Beautiful colored water. So clean looking.
Blue Water Bridge into Canada. This bridge links Port Huron in the US to Sarnia in Canada.
A large tanker backing out and heading off with a full load.
Same tanker with a sailboat heading the other way.
Unfortunately, other than a handful of small museums there is no waterfront/tourist village or sightseeing area. That was a disappointment. But what we were able to see was scenic and beautiful.
It wasn't until we were standing next to it that we realized the Lighthouse ship was not in the water.
| Checkers or Chess anyone? |
There's actually two bridges when seen from below.
I love mermaids
Oh Canada, Sarnia Harbour
| Lake Huron is past the bridge |
Later that evening we drove back into St. Clair, a cute town we're really starting to enjoy, and had dinner at PepperJoe's. Situated right on the Pine River in St. Clair. A beautiful sunny evening, no crowds, good food and reasonably priced. Plus lots of entertainment with the constant boat traffic in preparation for St. Clair's RiverFest happening this weekend. We plan on coming down with the boys.
PepperJoe's Restaurant
Outside dining on the deck overlooking the Pine River. The bridge in the background is raised to allow a boat through.

Bridge opening for another boat. Up and down it went at least 10 times. Must drive the car traffic nuts.
Dinner is Fajitas for me with half a Budlight and a wet burrito for Bill. So Bill's asleep now after half my beer and his own.
Happy Anniversary
