Mall of America

 We enjoyed a quiet evening at Hotel Walmart and left the next morning to see how they shop in Minneapolis.  One thing for sure is you must go to the Mall of America prepared to have fun and to spend lots of money.  We managed to have fun only.


Hearing about Mall of America is not the same as being there.  We are blessed to have such a great tour guide in Larry.  Walking into the mall you can't help but let the words "OMG" escape your mouth.  You are greeted with the roar of children and adults thrilling over the amusement park followed by the sight of a full size ferris wheel, carousel and all surrounded by additional rides and multiple roller coaster rides weaving and diving in and between the lot.  What a crazy and interesting place.










This for me sums up the entire experience...but in a good way.

We left the Mall of America behind after a walk through IKEA, one of my favorite places, and headed to our final destination for June.  Barnum, Minnesota.

So far we're doing okay with the ticks. The black flies and mosquitoes are another thing. Hope you're having fun in Portland. See you soon.
