Are We Really In Ohio?

No moss grows under our wheels...and as much as we wanted to stay in paradise we also had friends waiting for us in Ohio at Kenisee Lakes.  And I'll tell you we arrived just in time...but more about that later.

This road should be paved with yellow bricks...with regret we pull away from our wonderful visit with Bill and Gloria.

Beautiful drive to the Ohio border.  I love farmlands but I am no farmer.  Definitely a city slicker.

 Always thought it would be cool to renovate a barn into a home.  How do you get rid of the pecular smell of money?

This roof top didn't look particularly inviting and in fact seems a bit omnious.  Can we all say caw-caw.

We got most of a full welcome from Ohio.  Dang windshield.  But Ohio made up for it with a great price on gas.

Wish we could drag this price around.













Next on the agenda was to get past Cleveland.  I'm sure Cleveland is a nice place but all the reviews of their Walmarts scared me from even going near them yet alone staying overnight.  It was a fairly easy drive and we were past it by 2 p.m.  Relief.

Kenisee Lakes Ohio.  Such a pretty lake.  We have a peek-a-boo view of it.  Go fish if you want.

 Lots of open space, big fields, lots of use.  This seems to be a very popular park.

Party Central is open once again.  We have two other Lewis and Clark members at Kenisee Lakes.  There's Linda and Ove Jakobsen two rigs down and Trish and John Elsner over in the high rent 50 amp district.
Ran into them on a walk last night.  Didn't know it was them until they showed up at our door to say hello.
So no Larry we really barely had met.

Woke up the next morning (Saturday) to a beautiful sky and a full agenda.  Come back later for a fun update on our day at the Corn Roast held at Kenisee Lakes.
