Kenisee Lakes Corn Roast

After pigging out on donuts at the Welcome Lodge, we waddled back to our rigs and got a bit of exercise giving Ove and Linda's rig an "earthquake".  They finally emerged and it was hugs all around.

Before the Corn Roast Linda, Kathie and I drove to the Ashtabula SuperWalmart for an overdue grocery shopping spree.  We hit the Steak n' Shake on the way home as a reward for all our hard work...yummmm...got to maintain that sugar high.

However, to offset the sugar high we ate some more.  Joined by Linda and Ove Jakobsen on the right, and Kathie and Bob Erickson on left we scarfed up pulled pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, cole slaw, chips, pickel and a pop.  All for $4.50.  It was really good!

Linda seems to be holding the food in with her fork.

Bite your tongue Bill?

Delicious!!!!

Beautiful bird.

John and Trish's cats airpainted on the back of their Safari.

Did you all know today is National S'mores Day?  We celebrated in true campfire style.

Ove and Linda scorching marshmellows.

Linda's caught on fire and she tries to blow it out but blows it off the stick.  She grabbed it in mid-air, catching it in her palm before it hit the ground.  Burn, burn, burn.  It took one Black Velvet and Coke to douse the smoke and my bottle of water to start cooling her palm down.  An hour of ice and she will be able to use her hand again.

Kathie and Bob enjoying the campfire.

We played Pegs and Jokers and stopped Ove and Linda from winning.  Will continue tonight with more rip roaring games and John and Trish will be joining us.

Thanks for visiting.

See you soon
