Yesssssss!!!!!
Found the State Park with no problem. Larry even took a wrong left turn just so Bill and I could go into the park first. We of course did not follow him down his wrong turn but carried on. His turn to catch up.
All settle in and ready to explore the French Quarter.

Oh Yeah!
We are searching out these little yummies because Gail and Larry taunted us with them before we even left WalMart this morning.
Ta Dum. We found a huge open cafe area.
Swwwweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!
Fortified with caffeine and sugar we turn ourselves loose on the town. We are definitely a minor league threat after you see some of the photos that follow. What a blast we're having.
Local artist with a posted sign, No Pictures. Ha...I'm powerful on sugar and caffeine...
I just love these wrap around buildings....so New Orleansish.
Carriage taking a group on a tour.
It's not most places that you have to worry about such things.
And we're just getting to the heart of it all.
Don't cha jes luv it?
Not all the courtyards are as inviting.
Dis lady sur be likin de pots
Every other door is a bar. The doors in between offer t-shirts, other souvenirs, voodoo paraphernalia or female prospects.
Promised you some interesting sights. Here's one out loose.
These buildings are so beautiful. The ironwork is amazing. And to think this was all flooded.
We passed by one of thousands of t-shirt shops and these two got me laughing. My apologies for those possibly offended but it's better you know who you're dealing with...OMG this place is awesome. Okay I'll keep it a bleeted picture so less punch.
I don't know about you but I can certainly see a man's head in the clouds in this picture. And some people say there's nothing weird or strange about the French Quarter.
A rare glimpse down the street without a hundred cars coming and going.
The old blended with the new.
What's a town without their Coyote Ugly?
And there was nothing "ugly" about this little cutie. Lonely maybe but not ugly.
Always some sort of distraction in the French Quarter.
Some great jazz music pouring out the open cafe courtyard.
Great street scenes every direction.
And of course a French Quarter HardRock Cafe.
Whoooohooooo
I am a Parrot Head from way back.
Jimmy Buffet is great. I was weaned off my 40's with him.
and from this menu I ordered
Cheers!
All finished....burp!
Exhausted we headed home.
