Bluegrass Christmas

Well shucks ya'll...we had a unexpected delight last night at the Peace River Thousand Trails Park.  An authentic Bluegrass Christmas Performance.

We arrived at Peace River about a week ago and have since that day wondered what was going on across from us in the big black bus with loads of teens.  There was also a large bus just down from us with a lot of teens there too.  All well behaved but you know how it is...curiosity.

So last night we found out what was up!

Here's a family of 10 traveling the USA with their bluegrass revival ministry.  They were amazing.  In fact they are two years in a row National Bluegrass Band Champions.

Ages 7 to 25.

These two are twins age 25, both engaged.  Monther Chris is on the right.

It was so hot inside the chapel that I went outside to enjoy the music from the lodge.  Peace River really knows how to celebrate Christmas.  Everything is so beautiful, clean and cozy.

Great place to enjoy the wonderful music.





Tomorrow we head back to Orlando TT for the holidays.

There are many friends arriving there over the next few days and some already there.  It will be fun to celebrate the holidays with good old friends.
