Blue Springs State Park

During our stay in Eustis, Fl. at Southern Palms (back in February) we'd planned a visit to our  friends Cheri and Harry who are camp hosts at Blue Springs State Park.  I didn't go on this outing but I will share the pictures Bill took and tell you what I know about the Blue Springs State Park in Orange City, Florida.

This park is a designated manatee refuge. The natural springs are a constant 72 degrees.

Bill and his mermaid manatee.

Looks like a whole lot of manatees.  At times the park gets so crowded they close the gates.  This is for the protection of the manatees and the guests to the park.

That sure is a cute armadillo.

Sorry I missed this outing.  Next time.  The pictures sure are nice.  Thanks for taking them Bill.

And thanks for visiting.  Come back again.
