Farewell to New Friends

Susan here.  I'm going to play catchup for the past three weeks.  We were just leaving Gettysburg Farm during this blog and going to Hershey for two weeks before heading back towards Branson for a visit and then on to Palm Springs for the winter. Larry and Gail will head towards Texas before coming to Palm Desert.  A lot has happened and nothing has happened.  So keep reading to find out what that means.  In the mean time I'll go work on what's been happening in the next few blogs.

Gettysburg Farm is my most favorite RV parks ever.  It was clean, welcoming, plenty of activities, maybe not the best rain runoff system, but lots of adorable animals roaming around and beautiful plants and shrubs, corn fields, and veggies growing along the pathways.

Wonderful sunflowers all around.
And my new friends.  This is Bubba.  I think that's a turkey under his butt.

I call her Snow.  They would all eat out of your hand.

Even Sly Eye.

Darn fence is in their way but they know how to get out and roam the park looking for more handouts.

And the two babies Pepe and LaPue with old Sly Eye butting in.

Sly Eye and his buddy are really hungry this morning.

Sly Eye is  pretty pushy and old man Long Horns is cleaning up after him.

Most of the waddlers are merging on the scene.

Definitely will miss this place.  Below are some of my favorite sites in the park.  Enjoy.

We've eaten so much corn on the cob this summer, more in three months than in the past 10 years.

Goodbye Gettysburg Farm and all the new friends we've met.  Sure hope to come back again.
