Counting Kernels

Seriously Larry?  I was only kidding when I said it's a fact that every ear of corn has the same number of kernels regardless of size.  Only 360, always.  It started with stealing an ear of corn along the road home.

And went downhill from there.  Really Larry?
 Still counting?  Really Larry?

Really Larry?

St. Gail.  Really Larry?

Really Larry?                                                                                 Really Larry?
(George Creekbaum, my ex brother-in-law)                                  (Barry Creekbaum, my nephew)

It sure was nice seeing George after 35 years.

We drove into Terre Haute and found a Mennards...everyone was happy with that find.  We met up with George and Barry at the DQ out front and visited for an hour or so.  Then it was off to the Hall of Fame Junkyard Museum.

A hybrid pickup truck.  Anyone know what model?

An old Mercury.  This thing is still road worthy...or it was just last year.

Somewhere under all this junkyard items is a home built roadster.

Hey a motorbike.

American Pickers would eat this place up.

Oh yeah!

This Museum was found on my nephews property.  Yes, he's guilty of collecting "stuff". The "Hippies" sign must be left over from George.

I even found pictures of my Dad hanging on the walls.

Now he was a cutie.

But this is how I remember him.  Dad and his motorbikes.

Returning to the nickel tour is Barry with Greta, his 12 week old Pit.  How harmless can a Pit be that pees all over itself when it met us?  She was very cute......

Barry explains that the "bib overalls" is merely an attempt to not stand out as different in Indiana, land of the body snatchers.

String beans on the vine.  Afterall, those "bibs" go along with a little gardening.
Barry on the property.                                              Busy chopping wood for the coming winter.

A lovely sunflower that's seen better days.  Guess that applies to a lot of us.  Still beautiful.

Thanks for visiting.  Come back soon.
