Chattanooga Choo Choo opened in 1909 in the golden era of railroad. The Terminal Station is now a part of the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. We all know the song was recorded by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra in 1941, during the big band era. We only slept at the Walmart in Chattanooga so I can only tell you what I know. We never saw it. Maybe next trip.
Monday morning and we prepare to leave. Geez...who put that snake in the tree behind Larry and Gail's rig? No one knew what it was. I looked up "big black snake" on the internet and found out it was a Rat Snake. Three guesses what it eats...yeah, and mice too. It looks hungry if you ask me. But really, it takes three people to confirm it's a live snake?
I do notice a small mouse size lump on the snake.
Non-poisonous, but a constrictor, it was unwound by some brave soul and tossed back in the bushes.
Linda and Ove pulled out first after buying an Entegra Aspire...delivery in early November.
Duke was still there when we left but he was heading back to a park he was previously in for some repairs, then heading down to the Florida Keys.
We headed north towards Atlanta. Dang we hate traffic. It was heavy and it was 11 a.m. We heard it's like a parking lot around 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Not really surprising. The city of Atlanta seemed to go on for miles and miles. Just when you think you're on the north side of it, more high rise building pop up.
Something looks really weird about the Marriott building. Is it waving?
Finally we made our way out of the concrete jungle into trees, flowers and pretty landscapes. Some attractive road side flowers.
We found the Walmart in Chattanooga with no problem, fueled up, hey, $3.03 a gallon for gas. Larry paid $3.57 for diesel. Found a good place to park and went to dinner at the local Cracker Barrel about 3 miles away. Stopped at a Verizon to get Larry's new Iphone4 fixed. It was a mess. Told him to get a Samsung Android....but no.....

Check out the view from our slide window to the glass office building across the street.
Rise and shine everyone. We're off to Arnold Air Force Base for a couple of days.
Going to Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, TN.
See you afterwards, hic....thanks for visiting.
