In addition to a great voice this man is funny. Always a joke or short story...entertainment all around.
And of course another stunningly beautiful sunset while we waited for the show.
Georgia is sure putting on a spectacular sunset display for us. We're impressed.
The evening started with the high energy "One More Last Chance"
Plenty of soft sad songs, cheating songs, loving songs...well you know what they say if you play a country song backwards...yep...ya get back your car, your dog, your house and your girl.
It ended over an hour later with one of my favorites, Liza Jane. Following the finale the audience showed their appreciation and started stomping their feet. A rumble like you've never heard before. I prayed the grandstands could take it and we didn't all end up in a heap on the ground. Not only did it survived there were multiple incidents of it...after each finale, and another finale.
At the end of Vince Gill's show was a great fireworks display.
Here's a few of the better one that I could capture.
And so another exhausting day topped off with an evening of great entertainment and one final never ending rumble of the grandstands. I'd say these southern/southeast folks are more country than rock n' roll.
Well thanks for peeking at our great evening. Come back soon.
