We left Largo, Florida under overcast skies. The drive back to Orlando was a piece of cake, freeway almost the entire way. We were lucky also to get the last three sites in the G section with 50 amps.
St. Petersburg city maker. We never made it over to St. Petersburg. Have to save it for another trip.
Driving over the bay on Hwy 275 we had a good view of the Tampa skyline. A pretty skyline had it been sunny it would have been even prettier.
Now this is an interesting way to set up a satellite dish. Anyone seen this type of set up? I'm thinking unless the earth fell off it's axis, something I doubt we'd have not noticed, Southwardly is not straight up.
Linda and Ove Jacobsen were in the park just around the corner from us so we invited ourselves over for an impromptu Lewis and Clark happy hour and Entegra tour. Their new motorhome is luxurious and beautiful, easily holding 10 adults with space left over for more. Fluffy made the rounds welcoming all. What a delightful and beautiful cat.
Sitting around, catching up on what's been going on over the past few weeks.
Don and Shirley shared a smartphone photo of the strawberry shortcake they had in Plant City. These huge servings cost only $3.25 each.
I tagged along with Larry and Gail to the Golden Corral where they met up with old friends from years back. We had a hoot of a visit with Velma and John. They have been everywhere, seen everything and know all. I sure hope to meet up with them again.
That night's sunset.
The next morning's sunrise.
Today it's raining and it was snowing in the panhandle. What is going on in Florida. I sure wish it would just settle down to normal Palm Springs like weather. Sure miss Palm Springs.
This morning Larry and Gail went to the airport in Orlando for their flight to Seattle. They will watch the Seahawks play the Broncos at home with Larry's family. Tasha and Misty are in our care. We will have a great week with them. We'll miss Larry and Gail but they'll be back next week. Hope the weather improves while they are gone.
That's all folks. We're planning to go to Titusville and the Kennedy Space Center, maybe an airboat ride through the alligator farms/everglades.....and pickleball and volleyball and eating out and shopping!
Thanks for visiting. Come back again.
