De Family Goes To Capone...get it?

Our "Wiseguys" and "Dolls" numbered 14 as we headed out to Capone's Dinner Theater in Kissimmee, FL.

A special thank you to Ken and Diane Peebles for pulling this very successful outing together.

Diane Peebles here, and sorry Ken, I didn't get the face on you but we know it is you.

We will eventually get them into our Lewis and Clark Group.  They'll fit in perfect.

John and Trish Elser made it all the way from Sherwood Forest, a mile down the road.

Our rich friends with their new Entegra, Ove and Linda Jakobsen.

We find Lewis and Clark members everywhere.

Sherry being Sherry.  Sherry and Randy Cederland, more Lewis and Clark members.

Don and Shirley at the end of the table.  Friends now through Linda and Ove.

And Randy and Sherry Cederland.

Us, Susan and Bill Rasmussen.

Julian and Sharon Cranston.  More Lewis and Clark members.

So a total of 5 Lewis and Clark Chapter member's rigs are not only in Florida, but in Orlando area.

This group sure does get around.

And if you count Larry and Gail it's 6 rigs.  They are in Seattle for birthdays, Superbowl and etc. for a few days so they missed this fun event

The food and drinks were included in the admission price.  The food was actually very tasty and the wine flowed.  I have no idea how many glasses I drank but my glass never got close to the bottom.  Neither did the rest of the wiseguys and dolls...with the exception of our designated drivers.

Larry, I put this in to let you know what you missed.  This could have been you.

Capone's is a Speakeasy.  Bunny and Two Fingers (who by the way is a dead ringer for Nathan Lane) get married.  Jewel the club owner is master of ceremonies...trying to keep the show moving and the staff from killing each other.

A fun afternoon viewing the world of illegal drinking, vaudeville, and slapstick comedy.   We attended the 1 p.m. matinee.

Bunny preforming with the wiseguys, who were also doing service as our waiters.  All could sing and sort of dance.

Jewel on the far left is watching Bugs Malone (who's looking for Two Fingers) meet Bunny's two sisters Honey and Sunny...who join Bunny as a three sister dance and sing act..

Bugs finds Two Fingers but he's mostly annoyed because Two Fingers keeps calling him Bugs.  Bugs is trying to repay a debt but Two Fingers thinks he's after him for a debt he owes to Bugs.  There was a lot of  "fork you" going back and forth.  Pure vaudeville.

Our never ending wine decanter with human attachment.

Bunny and Jewel, the primary singers, harmonized beautifully.

Bugs and Two Fingers reconcile after the name calling was put aside.  This turned into an audience participation and was the best and funniest part of the show.  Ad lib was the game of the day.

The show continued but apparently these two had not reconciled the debt issue.  In an attempt to hide from Bugs, Two Fingers locks Bunny in her dressing room, dresses in drag and joins Bunny's sisters Honey and Sunny in a three sisters Salute to Fruit.

Bugs is highly suspicious of the odd singer and dancer.  I think Bugs is also highly repulsed.

The show ends with Bugs and Two Fingers reconciling over the 5 cent debt Bugs owed Fingers. Grand Finale and all players marching onto the stage was a blur.

Awwwwe.  Bill and Sharon having a good time.  I think most of us had one glass too much. Personally we were so full we didn't have dinner last night.

Can you believe it's still raining in stupid old Florida.  Jeeeeeezzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Enough already

Time to feed Tasha and Misty.

Thanks for visiting.  Come again soon.
